East Hampton (Whalebone Village)– Another variation on the Learn & Earn theme is taking place in a small, affordable housing development in the “rich and famous”community of East Hampton, Long Island.  In this setting, the housing development itself helps to fund the class for 10 students, half of whom are Spanish speaking.  It has been heartwarming to see the community-building taking place as neighbors who hardly acknowledged each other before, are helping each other learn the language of technology.
