Coram LINCT Community

Coram LINCT has day and evening classes at The Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus located in Coram. The church also provides a connection to the Internet. The instructors are paid by Patchogue Medford Adult Literacy Program funded by the New York State Education Department. These instructors are both graduates of the LINCT program.

The program is open to low-income families and allows them to take their own computer home with them at the end of the class. Our program has provided the community the opportunity to join the world of technology. Children in these families are now able to do better is school because they can use the computer to do their homework. They also can do research on the Internet to aid them in learning and producing reports.

A computer room is being set up here for those within the community who have no computer at home. Computers will be available for doing homework and accessing the Internet.
